Title: Structured Testing in Agile Projects using Smart use Cases
Sprache: Dutch
Zielgruppe: All
Referent: Sander Hoogendoorn
Abstract:

Deciding on the right unit of work is crucial in agile projects. Choosing your work items too big makes them hard to implement and impossible to test. Choosing them to unstructured makes development and testing diverse and elaborate. Sander Hoogendoorn, principal technology officer and agile thought leader at Capgemini, will demonstrate how smart use cases deliver a solid, structured unit of work in agile projects. He will use many real-life examples from everyday projects to elaborate on how to identify, model, develop and most of test smart use cases in agile projects, applying several test techniques such as peer reviews, unit testing, process cycle tests, use case tests, and web performance tests. He will also show how smart use cases are described in the (UML) modelling tool Enterprise Architect in structured scenarios and how test scenarios are automatically defined and generated using this tool, creating traceability from analysis, code and tests, and saving a lot of work in functional testing.
